PC Based Epos system, fully integrated with a web application server. All Sales Transactions / Price Lookups are transfered to / from head office through an integrated web server. No messy CSV files to maintain. Super fast sales updates. Shop sales can update the head office system every half hour or less.

Shop Communications Monitor. Allows head office to see what the shops are doing. Time shop last contacted Web Server,  On line status, Sales transactions uploaded, PLU’s downloaded etc. Updated every few minutes.

Self synchronising crash proof till software. Fault tolerant. All PLU’s / Staff Files /  Transaction data etc is held on the till and replicated on a PC in the back of shop on a transaction by transaction basis. Should a till fail for some reason,  simply replace the till and it will synchronise itself from the back of shop PC automatically. Should the back of shop PC fail, the till will automatically switch to off-line working and synchronise the back of shop PC the moment it comes back on line. Back office PC’s and Till PC’s are fully interchangeable and require no specific "server software"

  •  Multiple Tills. Any number of tills can be supported by the system. Shops with a single till are supported but obviously cannot provide for disc failure, unless provided with a secondary drive or device. However, in such an event, data loss will be limited to the last time the till transacted with the web server, which is usually every thirty minutes.
  • Web based scheduler. All operations between the shop and web server are transparent and automatic. Should a till lose connection for any length of time from a few minutes to days, it will automatically update both itself and the web server the moment the connection is restored. Visible and audible warnings are provided at both head office and at the shop whenever the shop loses its connection for more than a preset time.
  • Special sales. Spring and summer sales discounts etc, can be uploaded to the shops prior to their coming in to effect. The till will automatically switch to the new price on that day.
  • Staff Sales Discounts. If such a scheme is in operation, the system will maintain a record of staff discounts against a staff sales discount structure. This will prevent staff members from taking a discount if they do not have an entitlement. Discounts taken by staff are maintained globally on the web server, meaning that staff can take a discount at any of the company shops if they qualify for one. Staff are identified by their staff ID or payroll number.
  • All operations on the till are recorded in a user referenced transaction log, including things like time taken from opening the till drawer to closing it, which can prove very useful when fraud is suspected.
  • Web Based Shop requests. Every two minutes the shop contacts the Web server and asks if there are any requests from head office for it. Requests can range from a software update, allowing head office plan software updates which might require some kind of training, To uploading Till receipts.
  • Industry standard OPOS compliant allowing any type of printer or  OPOS peripheral to be used. Where single copy till printers are used, with the huge saving in stationary costs, all receipts are individually saved in a text file which can be re-printed if needed. In addition till receipts are concatenated in a separate text file on a daily basis which can be easily uploaded / sent to head office for archive purposes.
